Kaya Year 3 parents
It
is so lovely to be back in the classroom with the students. I trust that you
all had a nice break over the holidays.
I
know the last few weeks have been really difficult for many people with illness
and isolation and all the things that go with it. I do hope that you all stay
well, but if you or your child need any extra support, please reach out.

Stationery Refill
If you could please check in with your
child to see if they need any stationery refills in their pencil case, that
would be great. There are some students who need glue sticks, headphones,
scissors etc.
Winter Uniforms - this is the final week to get
pants and jumpers sorted.
I
do realise that there may be some delays and of course that is absolutely fine.
It may be helpful for your child to have their jumper in their bag to pop on in
class as we still need to keep the room well ventilated.
Illness/Absentee - A reminder please to make sure
that if your child is not well that you keep them at home, as a working parent,
I do appreciate this is not always easy to do but it is tough for the kids to be
sick at school
Additionally,
if your child is away please follow this up with an online absentee form. It is
important that all absentees are accounted for.
Homework
Homework
will not commence until Week 4 this year.
Wheels
After Meals 🚲⛸🛹
This will kick off on Tuesday of Week
2. Please make sure that your child brings their wheels (scooter, skateboards
and roller skates) and their protective gear if they wish to participate. Your
child will not be able to participate if they do not have the appropriate head
wear and guards.
